The Challenge

VashKleen Laundry Services processes over 15 tons of hospitality and healthcare laundry daily, consuming massive volumes of fresh water—exceeding 30,000 liters every single day. Rising municipal water tariffs in industrial zones (reaching over $1.00/KL) combined with tightening environmental discharge regulations severely threatened their operational viability. Their legacy settling-tank treatment setup was highly inefficient, recovering barely 40% of process water and leaving heavy suspended solids and un-reacted surfactants in the effluent. This forced the facility into deep dependence on expensive private water tankers during summer months and subjected them to heavy penalties for failing to meet the required BOD and COD discharge limits.

Our Solution

Tigreen engineered and deployed a customized radical microbubble technology system specifically calibrated for heavy laundry wastewater, which contains incredibly high concentrations of recalcitrant detergents, bleaches, optical brighteners, and suspended fabric solids. The integrated solution leverages Tigreen radical microbubble technology to chemically bind and vertically extract emulsified contaminants without heavy shear forcing. This is followed by our certified modular multimedia filtration units tailored specifically to polish laundry effluent down to reusable quality. The entire plug-and-play skid required absolutely zero permanent civil work (a major requirement for their leased facility) and reached full operational capacity within 90 days. It now integrates seamlessly with VashKleen's existing pumping infrastructure, automatically recycling treated water back to the primary wash cycles.
