The Challenge

Fabriclean Services (Hyderabad) operates a high-capacity commercial laundry facility generating up to 30 KLD of highly complex effluent. The wastewater is characterized by synthetic color dyes, heavy surfactant foam, temperature spikes, and a highly alkaline pH of 9.5 to 10.5. With the Telangana State Pollution Control Board (TGPCB) imposing strict discharge limits for BOD, COD, and TSS, discharging untreated effluent was impossible. Additionally, the high cost of buying process water from tankers threatened profit margins, requiring a localized circular water system that could fit within the facility's compact utility area.

Our Solution

Tigreen supplied, installed, and commissioned a compact 30 KLD packaged ETP built around our patented Radical Bubble Purification (RBP) Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) technology. The system automatically adjusts pH between 7.5 and 8.5 using Caustic/HCl dosing, followed by coagulation (PAC at 1 L/KL) and flocculation (anionic polyelectrolyte at 1.5 L/KL). The microbubble flotation extracts suspended solids and color flocs to the surface for uniform skimming. The clarified effluent flows to tertiary polishers—chlorine disinfection, Pressure Sand Filter (PSF), Activated Carbon Filter (ACF), and a Resin Softener—to remove hardness. The entire unit fits in a single car parking slot, bypassed civil excavation, and was commissioned in April 2026.
